A 3-year-old male mixed-breed dog weighing 18 kg is presented with acute onset vomiting for the past 12 hours. The dog has vomited 4–5 times, remains interested in food between episodes, and has no diarrhea. There is a clear history of scavenging the previous evening. Physical examination shows mild dehydration, no abdominal pain, and normal temperature.
